Job description
Renuvo are a family run heating company specialising in gas, oil, electrical and renewable heating service, maintenance and installation. After recent contract successes, we are recruiting a part-time Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to support our Financial Director with the day to day finance of the business.
You will have all the expected qualities; organised, efficient with excellent attention to deal as well as the ability to work in a fast-pace environment. Working closely with our Finance Director, you will be expected to have an understanding of cloud-based financial systems and demonstrate a track record in maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, price checking and inputting crucial financial information.
THE ROLE:
- Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger postings
- Match purchase orders with invoices and input correctly into our property management software
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, nominal accounts, expenses and such like
- Liaise with clients, external suppliers and customers as required
- Management of sales ledger
- Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting
- Supporting FD to develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
YOU MUST HAVE
- Sound accounting knowledge
- At least 2 years bookkeeping / finance experience (desirable)
- Attention to detail
- An understanding of cloud-based systems such as Xero and Sage
- A good understanding of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills
