Our company has recently secured a number of multi million pound contracts to deliver renewable energy heat and solar power installations along with their long term maintenance.
It’s an exciting time to be in this industry and Renuvo’s Managing Director (MD) and his senior management team (SMT) are in need of organisational and administrative support to cope with the substantial increase in business demands of the company. We are therefore seeking someone with comprehensive experience as an effective administrator/leader to take an influential part in the development and progress of our company and its future.
Personal Qualities & Skills Required as Assistant and Business Support Executive
The candidate we are looking for will be –
- A first rate administrator who is personable, cheerful and ambitious
- Capable of organising and administering planned work on behalf of the MD and the SMT
- Exceptional in communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly computer literate and capable of using a range of software systems
- Equipped with good literacy skills to prepare emails and letters for the team
- Able to clearly demonstrate the value they can bring to support the SMT
- Trustworthy in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Strong in customer focussed telephonic skills
- Come with excellent references and where relevant, confirmed experience
- A self-motivated individual who can display initiative
Job Description
As a Personal Assistant and Business Support Executive, you will play a key role working alongside Renuvo’s Managing Director and Senior Management Team to support with the day to day operations. You will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support at a senior level and be able to handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage the MD’s electronic diary, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary
- Maintaining professional communication with the MD’s contacts
- Process correspondence, ensuring that incoming correspondence are dealt with by the MD/or on behalf of other staff as appropriate
- Maintain the MD’s office systems, including data management and filing
- Act as the first point of contact for the MD and attend meetings, take notes, draft minutes and action recommendations as required
- Screen calls, enquiries and requests, and deal with them when appropriate
- Demonstrating proactivity, initiative and decision-making capabilities in the Managing Director’s absence.
- Assist the MD in following up with actions on matters which fall within the Director’s responsibility – chasing responses, triggering follow-up action
- Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the MD
- Organise meetings and ensure that the MD is well prepared for those meetings, preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers
- Support Renuvo’s SLT to ensure systems and procedures are maintained and support the efficient running of the office
- Manage Renuvo’s CRM systems and ensure handover documents are prepared and sent to clients

· Salary: £22,500.00-£29,500.00 per year
· Benefits: 5 weeks annual leave after 5 years, annual bonus
· Work base: Kingsbury Link, Tamworth (occasional home working in exceptional cases)
· Job requirements: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
· Working times: 8am to 5pm (Mon – Fri)
· Working Hours: 40 pw
· Sick Pay: Subject to pre qualification and performance
